2011 IOGKF Canada Black Belt Gasshuku Feedback

Onegaishimasu,

Hello Sesnei, just wanted do send ou a quick note to thank you for yet another great Canadian Black Belt Gasshuku.  The emphasis on quality of the Kata that you have been putting on us is evident.  IOGKF Canada, is looking more and more in unison.  Congratulations, to all the Yudansha who passed the grading.  It was a special one for me, since it is the first time one of my students presents his Nidan grading.  I am looking forward to the Gasshuku with Terauchi Sensei in March 2012.  Once again thank you very much for another great event and thank you for sharing the videos from China, it is clear where our heritage is from.

Sensei Genaro Liriano, Naha Dojo, Toronto, Ontario

Sensei,

On behalf of myself and my black belt students I would like to express my sincere appreciation for allowing us to share this weekend's gasshuku with you and the karatekas of IOGKF-Canada.
As always, the training was exceptional and only out done by the hospitality and friendship shown by all the Canadian karatekas. It is always a wonderful feeling to come back to Burlington and train with you and your dojo.
I hope that you, your family and all of your students have a wonderful holiday season.
Best Regards,
Sensei Sam Larioza, Ohana Dojo, Michigan, USA

    Onegaishimassu Sensei,

I like to tell you it was a super Gasshuku. I train and I learn a lot. My back still in pain, but it's my life.
    Best regards

We were pleased to hear that the theme of the Gasshuku was to have all the dojos in Canada instructing in the manner that Sensei wanted IOGKF to represent.Ishi Gogyou Martial Arts has always tried to take back the instruction and deliver it to our students in the traditional manner. All the technical Kihon waza and the Hojo Undo with the variations from Mark shows the traditional aspect of Goju Ryu and that tradition never changes over time. You showed us videos demonstrating this application. The similarities of different cultures and the usages. it was an informative and enjoyable training session. Seeing friends, missing friends and securing those friendship bonds.
Thank you for all your help
