I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, for putting yet another great event. Terauchi Sensei brought it on, he is a very inspirational instructor, I am amazed at his speed and control, his flexibility and his kime is owe inspiring. Many people are ready to retire at age 64, Terauchi Sensei like many other Senior instructors in the IOGKF are living testaments on how benefitial Karate is for everyone.

Thank you, for your teaching Nakamura Sensei, if it wasn't for your teachings we would have not been able to endure the hard training Terauchi Sensei brought onto us. Thanks to everyone at Hombu, for their great efforts on making this event a success. It was very nice to catch up and share stories with an IOGKF legend like Sensei Bobby Smith from Bermuda.

Congratulations, to Sensei Rock for passing his Yondan, well deserve. Congratulation to Chris from Niagara falls, for passing his Nidan grading, your determination and hard work is paying off.

Congratulations to John, for passing his Shodan, you are now an offcial IOGKF Yudansha, well done.

I am already looking forward to MCF 2013, as we will host the best Okinawan Goju Ryu Instructor alive, our very own Hanshi Morio Higaonna.

Domo Arigato for setting up this Gasshuku with Terauchi Sensei. We are very lucky to have such an intense and talented instructor amongst our IOGKF family. He has such love for the kids. As we assisted in their training, we saw how much he loves kids. The smile on his face despite the language barrier. Sensei was able to communciate with the kids and they understood him. Smiles on their faces. A few of our teens were centered out and to have Sensei correct them brought many SMILES to their faces and this is what we saw all the time. Ishi Gogyou Martial Arts was very proud to be part of this gasshuku. When we were told Terauchi Sensei was coming to Canada, we were prepared for hard training. He did not let us down. His name is synonymous with ENERGY, SPEED, AGILITY. Training with Sensei was tiring and lots of PAIN but exhilarating. His technical applications with energy, speed and agility which are shown from his techniques is what we will try to incorporate more in our own teachings at the dojo. It good to see that you can teach even if you do not speak the language well. Techniques will always shine over anything else. Experience the difference tradition makes is what Ishi Gogyou dojo has stood by and this weekend demonstrated that fully.

Thank-you for allowing me to participate in this inspirational gasshuku with Terauchi Sensei. I had a great weekend and I am proud to join the IOGKF. The Gasshuku was amazing, I learned and benefited a lot, Nakimura sensei and Terauchi sensei were amazing and were great and very special teachers, ( also not forgetting that they're great at singing ), the atmosphere at the Gasshuku was very special and unique, I'm very glad and happy I was able to go and train there.

As expected Terauchi Sensei was everything I expected and more. What amazes me about all our top Sensei’s in the IOGKF is that they just keep getting better with age. Nothing can be better than a teacher sharing this “experience’ with their students. I will always be grateful and humbled that we are so close and are able to support all your events.

We had a couple of adult students that were first time gasshuku attendees. They both felt that one of the most memorable aspects of the gasshuku was how friendly and welcoming all the participants were. This is truly a reflection of the character and culture you have nurtured in IOGKF-Canada. You and all your Canadian students should be justifiably proud of this special gift.

This weekend's Gasshuku will be one that I will always remember, as it was the first time I had the opportunity to train with Terauchi Sensei. The 2 days I attended were fabulous! Terauchi Sensei has his own unique way of teaching that transcends the language barrier and allows all in attendance to grasp his meaning. Everyone I had the pleasure of training with were respectful and hard working. I would just like to thank everyone that made this Gasshuku possible, it truly was a weekend to remember.

Dear Sensei

The karate seminar was well worth the 4 hours drive! It was a very good work out for me and it was good to meet new people! Tariachi Sensei was really funny and nice, but on the other hand can be really tough. But it was a great time practicing and learning new techniques with everybody. The dinner sent me home laughing, and it also touched my heart when, Tariachi Sensei and Nakamura Sensei sang a song. There were many other terrific performances. It was the next day and most people were sad to leave. The 3 hour training was very intense especially at the end.look forward to training under Higaonna Sensei next year.

This weekend was one of the most incredible weekends I have every been a part of with respect to Karate and training. Terauchi Sensei worked us all very hard both mentally and physically. I arrived on Friday March 30th in anticipation of working hard but not really knowing what to expect and left on Sunday with not only a stronger sense of belonging to the Goju Ryu karate family but much more in tune to the mental and physical aspects of what Goju Ryu Karate offers and training of this magnitude represents. Arigato Gozaimashita!!!!!! Look forward to the next big adventure!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed the gasshuku with Terauchi Sensei, this past weekend. Terauchi Sensie was very enjoyable and very funny, He is always smiling. Terauchi Sensie taught us many new things as did Nakamura Sensei. Training is hard work but exciting. I really enjoyed the technique challenge and was very proud of myself with how well I did. The dinner get together was a most enjoyable experience. The entertainment was great and the food was good. All in all the gasshuku was alot of fun.

I had a great time at the gasshuku. It was a good experience that I will not soon forget about. I learned quite a bit about some karate techniques from this training and enjoyed some individaul training, and had an opportunity to practice with a peer. Terauchi Sensei was very helpful both in training and outside of the training. It was nice to meet people from the other dojo's, and to spend time training with them as well as getting to know them outside of the gasshuku. This is my second time at a gasshuku and I am looking forward to going to another great gasshuku in the future.

Thank you very much for a wonderful seminar by yourself and Terauchi Sensei. All of my students that attended were very happy and excited about our new organization! I've learned so much and training to absorb the information. Especially Sanchin Kata. Our dojo karate class has a big lift in Spirit and Techniques, it is very exciting.

I am looking very much forward to the Tournament in May.
